Statement of Faith
- One God, Creator of the universe, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, God and Man in one person, born of the virgin Mary, the Word incarnate. He died on the cross to atone for the sins of man. And by His punishment we have peace, by His stripes we are healed. He resurrected and ascended to be the mediator between God and man.
- The Holy Spirit is the Comforter to believers. He convicts people of sin, brings repentance, indwells in believers forever, leads people into truth, and sanctifies the believer. We believe that Holy Spirit is God’s indwelling in man. The filling of the Holy Spirit empowers believer to live holy life and to serve God.
- The sixty-six books of the Bible are the Word of God. They are inspired, inerrant, authoritative, and the sole standard for Christian doctrine and living.
- God created man in His image. Man has fallen into depravity because of sin. Man can only be saved from his sin and enter the kingdom of God through faith in Christ.
- Marriage is instituted by God from the creation of humanity as the life-long union of one man with one woman for the blessing of people and the glory of God.
- The Church is the body of Christ and consists of all born-again Christians. Christ is the Head of His Church, the household of God.
- Jesus Christ will return to establish His eternal kingdom. All people will rise and be judged: the believers into eternal life and the nonbelievers into eternal damnation.

Our Story
Ever since Pastor Youhui Han and his wife Xie Xiurong Han moved to KATY, they came into contact with the surrounding community and found that many people did not know Jesus or heard the gospel. Then they saw more and more Chinese influx into the cities of Katy and Richmond, and they had a big burden of gospel on these people. So they started driving around the city to pray for these two cities. And every time they drove around the city to pray for these two cities, the burden in their heart became heavier and heavier. The move in them to establish a new Chinese Christian church between Katy and Richmond is also growing stronger.
But they know that the challenge of opening a new church is great, and it is impossible to accomplish this mission on their own. However, they believe that if this move is from God, God himself will come to accomplish all this. So they prayed earnestly in front of God to clarify God’s will and leadership.
After about two years of prayer and seeking, God made them sure in that the establishment of a new Chinese Christian church in Katy and Richmond was motivated and led by God. Through God’s Word 43:19 “See，I am doing a new thing！Now it springs up; do you not receive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” to strengthen their faith, and through the positive responses of some spiritual elders and brothers and sisters around them and the great peace in their hearts to confirm God’s call to them.
Pastor Han, his wife and the whole family made clear the call of God to them and obeyed God’s leadership. In July 2020, they went to the KATY and RICHMOND areas to develop new Chinese Christian churches for the Lord. When they stepped in the footsteps of faith, God did wonderful things according to his faithful promise. He personally moved and led a group of co-workers from different places who had the burden of the gospel to work with Pastor Han and his wife to come together, to establish new Chinese Christian churches, and you are welcome to join the Katy Living Water Church to expand the kingdom of God and experience His miraculous works.
Our Pastor
Pastor Youhui Han was born in China and grew up in a Christian family. Pastor Han had a serious illness when he was young, and his grandmother prayed for him. The Holy Spirit inspired his grandmother to devote him to God. When his grandmother dedicated him to the Lord, God also healed him wonderfully.
In 1997, God’s call came directly to him. He responded to God’s call and devoted himself to full-time preaching. In the same year, he entered seminary and spent four years there to receive theological education. He participated in the work of campus ministry during seminary. In 2001, he graduated from seminary. After graduating, he spent three years in the Chinese Pastoral Association, and later participated in the work of the campus ministry. In 2006, God led him to the United States to further accept theological education, and in 2009 received a master’s degree in Divinity from the International Seminary.
From 2009 to 2020 in the Houston Chinese Lutheran Church for more than 10 years. Today, God calls Pastor Han, his wife and the whole family to the KATY and RICHMOND areas to develop new churches and expand the kingdom of God.
Pastor Han and his wife have three lovely daughters after marriage. Pastor Han’s burden lies in the establishment of a sound pastoral system in the church, which can effectively equip brethren and sisters to become disciples who are after God’s own heart and fulfill the mission of universal mission entrusted by the Lord.
Mrs. Xiurong Xie Han was born in China and grew up in a Christian family at an early age. She has been influenced by the Christian faith since childhood. In 1996, she clearly understood salvation in a Bible training course, and officially accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized into the family of Christ. At the same time, she was also called to enter full-time ministry, and entered seminary in 1997 to receive four years of theological education. She graduated in 2001, and then entered the church full-time service in China. Two years later, because of the needs of the family, she served as a volunteer to serve God in the country and in the United States to support pastor Han. After coming to the United States, she was admitted to the Dallas Theological Seminary again from 2014 to 2019 and received theological education. She completed the course in the fall of 2019 and obtained a master’s degree in Bible Studies from the Dallas Theological Seminary.
